An ongoing ministry of encouragment to the people of Honduras

Cottage Industries

  The Cottage Industries are underway!

Jazmin

Jasimine is 18 years old and a single mother. Her beautiful baby daughter  Isa Marie is almost a year old! Jazmin and her mother are creating handmade all occasion cards crafted from fabric. They are available on our website. They will be able to support their families on the proceeds from the sale of these cards.

Arnol

Arnol is in his twenties. A husband and father with a young daughter, Arnol is making stars out of barbed wire to be used as Christmas Ornaments. Arnol will be able to support his young family from the proceeds of these ornaments.

Other ideas:

Another cottage industry we are hoping to help start is a bicycle shop. Bicycles are a major source of transportation. If you are interested in helping develop this business please contact us. We will need to provide training and stock the shop with parts as well as bikes. If you have any bikes or parts you would like to donate we would appreciate your help in getting this off the ground.

We also are working with a couple of ladies who are making baby clothes, dresses and other types of clothing as well as tablecloths. We are hoping to offer these for sale on our website in the future.  If you have any sewing items you like to donate please let us know.

We are open to any ideas that you have in forming cottage industries to help Hondurans support themselves. Let us know!
